Who should apply?
Institutions, Businesses, Non-profits + Corporations, located in, or with a connection to,
the greater Chelsea district (39th street to Gansevoort/13th Street, west of 6th Avenue)
What do you get?
A 10ft x 10ft tented area (provided by Art Connects) to host an interactive or participatory
experience representative of your organization at the Participatory Art Fair | Chelsea
Where is the event?
West 17th Street, 9th to 10th Avenue at the NYCHA Robert Fulton Houses
When is the event?
Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 1-5pm (11-1: load-in | 5-6: load-out)
+ Community Partners must facilitate an interactive or participatory activity in, or associated with, their tent that engages visitors
+ Community Partners are responsible for providing the content inside their tent including activity materials, tables, chairs, etc
+ Community Partners are responsible for the set-up and removal of the contents inside their tent on the day of the fair, including adequate staff to facilitate
+ Community Partners may not provide goods or services in exchange for financial compensation of any kind. Take-aways + souvenirs are welcome, but they must be completely free of charge
Art connects will provide +
+ A 10ft x 10ft tented area
+ Signage, including your logo
+ Event materials listing your organization + project
+ Documentation of the event
General Participation Fee | $500
* This fee may be waived or adjusted on a case-by-case basis
