Art Placement Program

ACNY's Art Placement Program permanently places themed, permanent exhibitions of artwork in New York City's social service and not-for-profit agencies.
  • Any agency can request artwork at any time
  • After an agency review, ACNY selects a curator to lead the placement
  • The curator chooses a theme based on the agency's mission and chooses artwork for donation
  • Agency staff and clients choose the work they wish to keep
  • ACNY installs the work
  • ACNY and recipient agency staff, clients, artists and supporters celebrate the placement

Spattered Columns Exhibition Space

Spattered Columns, Art Connects New York's exhibition space, is dedicated to showing the work of New York City-based artists without commercial gallery representation. Our exhibitions are chosen through a competitive, open call process, are organized by local curators and showcase group and solo exhibitions.
  • Annually we ask for exhibition proposals from independent curators
  • Proposals are juried by a team of arts professionals
  • Spattered Columns is available to selected curatorial proposals, free of charge, for 3-4 week exhibitions
  • ACNY publicizes Spattered Columns exhibitions
  • Each Spattered Columns exhibition is celebrated with a public opening
  • ACNY makes work available for sale, directing a small percentage of the sale price to ACNY's programs

Spattered Columns is open Monday through Thursday, noon to 6:00pm or by appointment.
